My gawd! I sound so pure and innocent ...

The Keys to Your Heart

You are attracted to good manners and elegance.
In love, you feel the most alive when your partner is patient and never willing to give up on you.
You'd like to your lover to think you are loyal and faithful... that you'll never change.
You would be forced to break up with someone who was ruthless, cold-blooded, and sarcastic.
Your ideal relationship is lasting. You want a relationship that looks to the future... one you can grow with.
Your risk of cheating is zero. You care about society and morality. You would never break a commitment.
You think of marriage as something precious. You'll treasure marriage and treat it as sacred.
In this moment, you think of love as commitment. Love only works when both people are totally devoted.

Y'know, the sea of bright blue caps does look impressive from up there.

I went and watched Klein's 2005 Graduation Ceremony, and it was much easier to sit in the audience than it was last year in the court. The only people I could clearly distinguish out of the crowd were Todd (Mr. Cum-Laude-second-row-69th-in-class with his NHS sash and top 10% gold cord) and John (Mr. Only-one-not-bowing-his-head-for-prayers with his long, blonde, wavy hair and model-strut). I was that soprano screech for each of you, by the way :p

Cindy's parents were my ride, so we left in the middle of the "K"s, because they knew no one else. Sorry to those of you I couldn't see and applaud for. I'm proud of each one of you, regardless of whether I was there when you walked across or not.

Congratulations all.

Wow, I'm out of shape. I accompanied my mother to tai chi this morning, and though it was fun and the amount of stretching and exercise was perfect, I'm sore. I've join for the summer. ^_^

My family and I are going to Casey's last band concert at Kleb tonight. I can't believe he'll be a highschooler next year. *sigh* Kids grow up so fast. I feel old.

Do any of you remember reading a book called In a Dark, Dark Room and Other Scary Tales? I had an overwhelming urge to read "Teeth" and "The Green Ribbon" so I drove over to the local Barnes and Nobles and nabbed it from the kids' corner. It's amazing how easily I was scared when I was younger. Then again, I still scare pretty easily.

Prom 2005

L-R: Todd, Me, John

My gawd, prom was great. My group consisted of only Todd, John, and me, since we'd decided that a big clusterfuck would only make things harder. Todd drove us to his house for pictures, then to Carrabba's for dinner, and the waiter was -- how shall I say -- very friendly. There seemed to be a lot of little middle school kids there too, so we guessed that there must have been another dance somewhere. The food was good, but as John said, "La Madeleine was better." (Now that I think about it, he was right: La Madeleine didn't have that waiter.)

At Prom, I finally got to try the chocolate-covered strawberries (thanks, Todd). They were fantabulamazing. ^________^ I danced once, and that was enough to show that I had terrible balance in stilettoes. Those things have crippled me for life, but I forgive them because they're so pretty. We stayed until almost midnight, then went to my house to change for APE.

I was a little iffy about the Disney World theme, but it turned out to be pretty neat. Actually, somewhere along the line, we were attacked with trivia by none other than Mary Poppins. We did some black jack, the wheel thingy, and I fought John on the moonwalk jousting (and lost miserably). It was all very fun, though my memory's a bit hazy after 4am because I was tired. We marched to the boy's gym later to hear the raffle winners, but I fell asleep and slept through most of it. Around when I woke up, John won a raffle for a $100 check, and we left.

I woke up today to the sound of my mother's ringtone. I listened to a voice message from her that demanded I come home immediately ... Todd dropped me off at my house after APE, and I was in my bed in my room in my house and very confused. Hilarity ensued.

It's been around a week since I had my teeth pulled, and other than the light yellow-greenish bruise left around my chin, I'm feeling great. I had hoped the mark would fade sooner, but since putting a hot moist towel to my face wasn't an option during much of packing and exams, this'll have to do.

I got my hair cut yesterday ... Well it was pretty short to start out with, yes, but I can now say that I had my hair bobbed. Yeeheee! I feel like putting on a flapper skirt and dancing to some jazz. ^.^

By the way, I'm back in town until August 1st, so call me up!

Your Birthdate: January 16

Your birth on the 16th day of the month gives a sense of loneliness and generally the desire to work alone.

You are relatively inflexible, and insist on your being independent.

You need a good deal of time to rest and to meditate.

You are introspective and a little stubborn.

Because of this, it may not be easy for you to maintain permanent relationships, but you probably will as you are very much into home and family.

This birth day inclines to interests in the technical, the scientific, and to the religious or the unknown realm of spiritual explorations.

The date gives you a tendency to seek unusual approaches and makes your style seem a little different and unique to those around you.

Your intuition is aided by the day of your birth, but most of your actions are bedded in logic, responsibility, and the rational approach.

You may be emotional, but have a hard time expressing these emotions.

Because of this, there may be some difficulty in giving or receiving affection.

9am today, I will have my wisdom teeth removed. They tell me it's a pretty long process. Thank goodness they'll knock me out beforehand.
