Personality Test
Brought to you by SimilarMinds.com

Stability results were medium which suggests you are moderately relaxed, calm, secure, and optimistic.

Orderliness results were high which suggests you are overly organized, reliable, neat, and hard working at the expense too often of flexibility, efficiency, spontaneity, and fun.

Extraversion results were moderately high which suggests you are, at times, overly talkative, outgoing, sociable and interacting at the expense of developing your own individual interests and internally based identity.

I finally got my kimono pictures uploaded: Take a Looksie

Ooh, look at me, I'm a radio
Call me up, make a request
I'll do anything, just name it
When I'm bad, baby, I'm the best

On another note ... anyone remember Lamb Chop?

The weather today is beautiful with soft breezes and clear skies. It's the type of day you want to take a deep breath and just watch the leaves on the trees blow in the wind, the type of day that promises cool days soon enough, the type of day that's a lying mothafucker.

I know better than to believe it. After Rita spits on us next Monday, we'll be back to Texas' usual scorching summer sun.

Analiza and I went to Sam's to get some food yesterday, and it was like the people were stocking up for the apocalypse. No water at Sam's or Wal-Mart. There wasn't even milk left in Sam's, which was ridiculous.

They'd removed all the racks that held milk to where they were just glass doors leading into the refrigerated storage. I had to do it. I walked in for a couple of seconds until one of the employees found me. Who says college students are mature?

Jared and I were bored tonight and ended up going out to walk around campus. The place is really nice when there aren't many people around.

And now for a treat, say hello to Jared:

I've had a fairly eventful weekend, and have a story to tell. [Disclaimer: I was sober the entire time.]

Analiza, Christina and I went to a party over at The Mavericks (the apartments next to ours) around 10pm on Friday. It was held in the suite right behind Jared's, who I befriended at a party last year; the people there are lovely (Richard, Enrique, Marc, and Isaac). Analiza and Christina both got plastered. Don't take that word lightly, either ... when I say plastered, I mean plastered-shitfaced-drunk-off-their-asses. I suppose the wine-bongs didn't exactly help. I walked Analiza home, walked back, and decided to sleep over at the place with Christina because she couldn't walk. Marc, Jared, and I chatted for a couple of hours, Jared went home, and I fell asleep around 6am (Saturday) and was up by 9am.

We (all, sans Richard) stumbled to Enrique's room and talked until we were slightly awake around noon, and decided we wanted IHOP. Picked up Analiza, went to IHOP, and then to Target because the guys needed a thing to put their tv on, drove back to their place, watched them put together the shelf thing, chatted, then we (the girls) decided we needed to take showers and rest so we went back to our place, Christina drove home, and Analiza and I washed up and rested. That was around 4pm.

After dark, Christina and Jared simultaneously contact and inform us about a kegger at a guy's house. "Pennies Kegs for Peace", $5 min at the door. We (Mavericks guys included) go around 10pm. The place was packed to the point where there was almost no room to walk around, and it was hot. It was at least 5 degrees cooler outside than in. Beer pong, chatting and dancing downstairs. Smoking upstairs. It got a bit lame around 1am when the 3 kegs plus reserves were emptied, so we all left, and met up at the guys'. Meanwhile, Analiza was entertaining (/smoking with) Isaac at our place.

3am, Mark and his friend decided they wanted to go to a strip club. Christina, Trent, and I tagged along. Much fun was had watching and chatting with the dancers. I even got a blessing from a dancer who walked by: "I saw you from the stage, and thought you were gorgeous. You look just like my niece." Awesome. We left around 5-ish.

Got home and fell asleep around 6am Sunday morning, and didn't wake up 'til 1pm. The rest of today was a quiet time for laundering and reflection.

I love being a college student.

I think I will try out for a solo part in Magnificat.

If I get the part, will you guys buy a choir Christmas CD? It would help me a lot in going to Europe.

Roomie, Natalie, and I went to pilates today, and it was fantastic! Squee! Sure, we'll be sore tomorrow, but nothing close to the agony ABS 101 put us through. The instructor, Monica, was mellow -- a striking contrast to the abs/kickboxing instructor -- but pushed us to try hard(er).

We definitely will be going back.

Hotdogs with chili cheese fries for dinner. Will redeem myself tomorrow with pilates.

The north shuttles seem to disappear between the hours of noon to 3pm. Roomie and I waited in the sun for hours (or so it seemed) until the thing finally came when we decided to go get lunch. Hunger and discomfort fueled our sarcasm and what we call "jackassosity". Much fun was had.

I knew it really existed, but I didn't know that Talk Like A Pirate Day is on September 19th. I'm so sorry, Mom, Todd, and Mrs. Guzman. Your birthday cards will now and forever be written in pirate-talk.

Roomie and I decided to try out pilates at the rec, since it seems to be all the rage lately. When we walked into the assigned studio, the instructor there told us that pilates had been cancelled last minute and that she was doing ABS 101 instead. Roomie and I exchanged glances that meant, "We might as well," and sat down with the rest of the girls. The 30 minutes that followed could only be described as the torturous reawakening of our abdominal muscles. I will be in pain tomorrow.

Me, to Roomie on our drive home, "Never again."

Is it strange that I prefer bourbon on the rock to beer?

I've been in a baking mood all day. I made some birdie muffins for Pii-chan and peanut butter cookies for us humans. Note to self: buy bigger baking pan, make bigger batches.
