Did some cleaning, so I took some pictures of the apartment. Check them out in my album.

Analiza: (handing me hot cocoa) Honestly, what would you do without me?
Me: I would simply roll over and die.

Happy Halloween, everyone.

I've got strep and lost my voice.

Look at my babies! They're all dressed up for homecoming. *Squeak* Beautiful children, I tell you, no one can top them.

Alright, Roomie went to Corpus on her parents' request. I drove to Rich's parents' house to get away from being alone. (He was house-sitting with Lee.) We ate pizza, watched movies, pet Duke (the dog), etc. I got back just now.

I went linking ... which is, I signed onto MySpace, and kept clicking on friends of friends of friends of friends of friends - you get the point - and came across this:

I normally cringe at the thought of two males in passionate embrace, not because I have anything against bi/gays, but because the amount of sweat and man fur. This is kinda hot, taking into consideration the lack of fur and sweat.

That is all.

Analiza will be gone all today with her parents to visit Corpus Christi, so we went out to a Halloween party last night. We wore our costumes, which can be seen in my photo album. The party was huge, at least 200 people crammed inside a small house, and it wasn't all that fun. "Tasteful moderation" is the key term for most celebrations. I think I had the most fun eating at IHOP afterwards.

I want one.

I've come to the conclusion that I really don't like the women's choir here at UTSA. I'm being opinionated, but "that's how the cookie crumbles, my dear." The backbone of any group is how well the individual components/people get along, and quite frankly, the cogs in this machine aren't turning the right way. The patronizing and the guilt-trips and playing favorites are starting to get on my nerves. I would quit if it weren't for the sake of music and new friends.

Hmm, new photos

Sunday, October 23, 2005

New pictures available.

Friday: School, 5:30pm meeting with choir to set up for the Texas Collegiate Women's Choir Festival (called TCWCF henceforth), much cutting out of letters and gluing, going home around 8pm, watching gamers doing what they do best, folding 20+ origami cranes, Cheesy Janes with Roomie and Rich, Dairy Queen shouldn't be this far..., Shakes. 3 hours of sleep.

Saturday: At school at 7:30am to set up for TCWCF, rehearsals all day, concert 7:30-9pm, bowling with Roomie, Rich, Lee, and Danielle. Crash.

Today: Woke up at noon, cleaned bird cage, bathed bird, cleaned room.

The report for SA today on weather.com says "Plentiful sunshine." I haven't decided whether that's a good thing or a bad thing.

"April Is In My Mistress' Face" (midi)
by Thomas Morley

April is in my mistress' face.
And July in her eyes hath place.
Within her bosom is September,
But in her heart a cold December.

For the first time in a while,
I had nothing planned when I made a move.
What next, what next?

Squee!

Wednesday, October 19, 2005

Had a history test today. Went to Jason's Deli with Jared and his girlfriend, Stephanie (who everyone so fondly calls "Steph-o").

Analiza and I are going insane. We spent a good couple of hours sporatically laughing hysterically at her newly acquired ADDness from her lack of sleep.

J: "My gawd, I feel I like I'm watching myself."
A: "You're worse. Much worse."

Oh yeah, there was some manly grunting-screaming-yelling outside our door. I only caught "Astros!"

Weekend = UTSA Concert Choirs' Tour of Churches

Friday: choir at school, hello Jimi Hendrix, concert at University United Methodist, rescue of damsels in distress, listening to Tally Hall from GarageBand.com, you sold Bawls for how much?

Saturday: concert at University Presbyterian, phone swap (aka Razr), getting lost on the way to attempt to get Richard a tattoo, being too late for him to get one, asked to come back the next day, McDonald's not two syllables.

Sunday: concert at St. Mark's Episcopal, feet hurt like bitches, poor Analiza, laugh at Richard's bleeding tattoo, Chipotle, crazy sex(?)-hair old couple, Wal-Mart excursion (Whitman's Sampler is my friend), Brit.

Photos have been updated for your viewing (dis)pleasure.

Windows-opened kinda day. It's a breezy 81 degrees outside, the sun is bright, and it's Friday. In theory, it should be a good day. Why, then, do I feel so blue?

The Bidding by Tally Hall

Can't stop listening to it.

I sang in the first choir concert of the season. Exhileration beyond words. And people came to watch, too! Analiza, Jared, and Richard. I feel so loved.

Anyone interested in getting the choir Christmas CD? $20 a piece.

I spent most of the weekend celebrating Richard's 18th birthday. Much fun was had, and I've uploaded pictures.

You're John F. Kennedy! You are one of the mostfamous presidents and you fight for rights ofother people. However, some of your politicalviews tend to make people want to stay awayfrom you. Other than that, thumbs up!

I'm feeling a bit drained; the last couple of days have been a little crazy. I think everything will be ok.
