Serenity

Things have been very quiet around here for the most part. A stray cat paid us 2 visits today. Very friendly, but unwilling to come in and hang out. (Pii-chan did not like him.)

We went out to dinner at Papouli's (Greek) last night. I love leftovers, but I love mediterranean leftovers the best. They just taste better the next day. Mm, humus and baba ganoush.

I've picked up knitting, too. This current one's going to Casey. Sorry, bro, I missed 2 stitches in it already. Nothing too bad, compared to the overall size of the scarf.

In other news, my cousin Hidetoshi (mom's older sister's second kid, my age) is coming to Texas over spring break.

Don't you hate it when you switch lanes only to discover the two lanes merge anyway? I do.

Sirens sound outside,
either someone has been shot
or it's a drug bust.

Toga! Toga! Toga!

Enriquepalooza on Friday was a blast. (Happy 22nd birthday to my friend, Enrique!) It was my first toga party, and I have to say I liked it. Believe it or not, less skin was showing at this party than in any other party I've been to.

Inactivity

Sorry for the lack of updates, school's been taking a toll on my free time. I love medical anthro, physical anthro of human society, and classical mythology (which is actually anthropology+archaeology+literature). Sadly, I'm not so excited about choir and ethics of America.

I tell you all this because I know you'll still love me and can somehow forgive me. It's hard for me to admit. They said it wouldn't hurt to try, that one go wouldn't get me addicted, and the side-effects should be mild.

That's right. They started me on WoW.

P.S. - Happy 20th birthday to me!

Cattell's 16 Factors

brought to you by similarminds.com

Here's my new schedule. I've opted to change my classes owing to my great fear of two certain professors. The times are a bit lopside, yes, but it's inevitable when you change your schedule this late in the game. All is well, though, as I'll have a better chance of passing.

Red Alert

My sister was the target of an attempted robbery/kidnap/etc. tonight around 8pm on Schroeder. There was a male on a bicycle riding aimlessly on the side of the road that suddenly veered into her path, and when she slowed down, another male (presumably on foot) tried to force entry into her car from the passenger side.

Luckily, she's good about locking her doors immediately after she gets in, and she got home safely. It makes me sick to think what could've happened if they got to her. Please be careful and use your car locks.

I'm impressed. I thought I was being pretty tricky with these questions, too. (BTW, "Mike" is Phillip.)

Who the hell is this Bob?

Happy New Year, everyone. May all your endeavors be fruitful, may your friends multiply, and may your coming years be merry and many.

With that, I drink to you. Cheers!
