I went to another Enriquepalooza toga party last night. [pictures by Stepho] I enjoyed dressing up and showing off and all, but I've really grown weary of the college party scene. It's just not fun to me any more.

Last night was my official birthday celebration. Analiza, Stepho, Phillip, Poe, Jared, Richard, and I went to Village Inn for dinner, and then we watched Pan's Labyrinth at the new Palladium Imax theatre. The movie was definitely not what we expected it to be, but it exceeded all of our expectations.

New Year's Resolutions:
Drink more water. Whiten teeth. Cook better. Take knitting class. Find voice lesson teacher.

Resolutions that I might keep:
Lose the 7 lbs I've gained in the past 2 years. Save >$3000 by June.

Resolutions I will probably not keep:
Lose addtional 8 lbs and keep it off.

I've been trying to find a decent pendant for my parents to buy me for my birthday, but I keep finding the same hackneyed designs at every retailer. Tired of the hearts and clovers and crosses, I tried googling "unique pendant" and found that "unique" is a euphemism for "ugly".

So now, instead of saying "That girl has an ugly face," I can say "That girl has a unique face."
