I just finished reading the last of the Harry Potter series.

Alright, so I had a pretty bad stomach ache earlier tonight and just got over it. I bring this up because I often take for granted not being in pain. I mean, how great is not having to be reminded exactly where your entire digestive system is? I love being able to breathe without the fear of triggering some sort of domino-effect of doom and destruction inside my body.
With that said, I slightly enjoy the whole process of pain. (Hoooold the thought.) I can only truly enjoy the not-pain after being in pain. Get it? If I don't vividly remember hurting, I'm not conscious of the fact that I don't hurt. So only after the initial pain do I get to enjoy the feeling of not feeling anything.
I'm pretty sure this concept can be applied to a lot of other things like war and peace. I assure you, though, that at this time at night I am far from eloquent enough to parody those two thoughts, and that, yes, this is simply about me enjoying getting over a stomach ache.
Good night.
